If you own a Ford Explorer, be sure you are up-to-date on recalls and safety issues with your vehicle. Recently the Center for Auto Safety asked Ford Motor Company to recall 1.35 million of Ford’s Explorer SUVs. The recall was due to continued complaints from consumers of exhaust fumes in the passenger compartments. The Center for Auto Safety indicated that they found 44 complaints regarding the fumes and potential carbon monoxide, even after owners had taken their Explorers in for free repairs. The NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) is continuing to investigate.
