Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of cases does the Faulkner Law Offices handle?
We handle almost any kind of case where someone is injured or killed due to the carelessness, ignorance or greed of another person or corporation. We also have substantial experience in the following areas: complex civil and criminal litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, insurance coverage issues, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, and professional negligence.
Do I need an attorney?
Regardless of the type of case, it is always advisable to speak with an attorney. Mr. Faulkner does not charge to talk with you and can determine if your situation is one where legal representation would be beneficial. Mr. Faulkner is familiar with legal matters and can guide you to help make an informed decision.
Will Mr. Faulkner represent me personally?
Yes. Unlike many law offices Mr. Faulkner will personally represent you as your attorney. He will not pass your case off to an associate or paralegal. You will get the knowledge, experience and personal attention that your case deserves.
If I am injured in an accident should I talk to the other person’s insurance company?
Never speak to an insurance adjuster until you have sought the advice of an attorney. Insurance adjusters do not have your best interests at heart and will often try to get you to enter into an early settlement for a fraction of the true value of your case. Learn your rights so you can make the best decisions for you and your family. Don’t make the mistake of signing a release with an insurance company.
Will Mr. Faulkner go to court with me if the case needs to be litigated?
Yes. Mr. Faulkner will personally protect your interests at every stage of the case. Many attorneys settle their cases prematurely as they are not equipped to go to court to help their clients. Mr. Faulkner has litigated cases since 1988 and has the skill and knowledge to assist you in successfully navigating the court system every step of the way.
