Wes’ grandfather Fred Faulkner Sr., began his legal career in 1930. He served as County Attorney, and then practiced law at the firm he started for nearly 50 years. He handled several hundred jury trials during that time span.

Wes’ father, Fred Faulkner Jr., began his legal career in 1950, not long after returning home from World War II and obtaining his Law degree. He served as County Attorney and City Judge. He practiced law for 52 years. In the last years of his career he practiced as “of counsel” to Faulkner Law Offices.

In 1995, Wes and his late wife Erin Brown Faulkner, opened a new office in the Kentucky Home Life Building. Erin was also a former prosecutor. She handled many cases in the Jefferson County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, Trial Division. She was a graduate of Indiana University and the University of Louisville Law School.

THE NEXT GENERATION
Wes and Erin have five children: Wes Jr., Jack, Lilly, Mary Rose and Isabelle.
