The driver of a vehicle is presumed to be drunk if their blood alcohol content is 0.08 or higher. Some of our clients were hit by intoxicated drivers whose blood alcohol content was a staggering 0.239 to 0.248 – three times the legal limit! These levels of intoxication resulted in violent crashes that, for our clients, meant serious injury and nervousness about being behind the wheel of a motor vehicle ever again.
Be careful on the road. If you see a driver that appears to be over the legal limit, contact the local authorities. Your phone call could save a life.
